Karen Drum brings over 20 years of nursing expertise to her role. Originally from Southern California, Karen relocated to Las Vegas in 1994 to attend UNLV, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). During the first 12 years of her career, she worked in an acute care hospital, specializing in the intensive care unit and trauma care. Since 2012, Karen has been part of a managed care organization, where she currently leads teams in telephone advice nursing, outpatient case management, and inpatient case management. She further advanced her education, earning a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Leadership and Administration in 2020, followed by a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Leadership and Administration from Capella University in 2022. Karen has been happily married for one year. Outside of work, she is passionate about global travel, reading, attending musicals, and spending quality time with her husband, friends, and family.
Leslie Manuel brings over 20 years of nursing experience, specializing in Pediatric Oncology. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is CCM certified. Beginning her career in 2000, Leslie worked as a travel nurse for more than a decade before settling in Las Vegas in 2009. There, she transitioned to a role as a telephone advice nurse for a local health plan. Currently, Leslie serves as an RN Manager, overseeing telephone advice nurses and case managers. Married for 11 years, Leslie cherishes her time with her husband and their daughter. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family, relaxing at the beach, cooking for loved ones, and cheering on the Golden Knights. GO KNIGHTS GO!
